As many of you know, Groundwork! is a member of the Workbar Network. So what does that mean for you?

First of all, you get access to SEVEN coworking spaces across Massachusetts. And the network is growing fast, so wherever your job takes you it’s likely you will find a network space nearby. Here’s a roundup of the spaces that currently make up the network:

Workbar Boston

Where it all started: the original Workbar location is in a historic brick building right next to Boston’s South Station. This work space is always full of energy, people and events. Bonus (according to Sarah): you can walk to nearby Chinatown and indulge in dumplings!

Workbar Cambridge

Workbar Cambridge opened just two years ago, although it hardly seems new with its close-knit community of coworkers! This space occupies two floors of an office building in Central Square and offers a variety of work areas and environments. If you hang out to enjoy the city life at the end of the day, grab a drink or some food at River Gods, one of Dena’s favorite spots.

Fields Corner Business Lab: Dorchester

Fields Corner Business Lab is located in one of Dorchester’s more diverse and interesting communities. Fields Corner offers a mix private offices and open workspaces. According to Alexa Lightner, Director of Community Development for the Workbar Network, Dorchester offers some of the best Vietnamese food in the Greater Boston area: check out Pho 2000 or grab a bubble tea at FunTea Cafe.

Work Station: Cohasset

Heading to the South Shore? Work Station offers a stylish, luxurious take on coworking in the oceanside community of Cohasset. Major bonus: you can hit the nearby beach at the end of a long day!

Running Start: Worcester

Running Start in Worcester is worth a visit to see the furniture hand-crafted by owner Ryan Leary. Located in a reclaimed mill building in Worcester’s Gateway Park neighborhood, Running Start offers quality coworking in a stylish, funky atmosphere. Worcester’s entrepreneur scene is on the rise, and the city also offers a variety of good eats.

The Entrepreneur Innovation Center at Framingham State University

This small but mighty space is located right on campus at Framingham State. Bonus tip from Alexa at Workbar: you can walk to the Framingham Farmers Market on Tuesdays and get fresh veggies, local ice cream, and more goodies.

Groundwork!

Okay, you already know about us, but technically we round out the list at #7. And just to remind you, we think coworking in New Bedford is awesome because of our working seaport, large artist population, cultural diversity, and local pride. Oh, and did we mention the extensive tap list at the Pour Farm and burritos at No Problemo? Yeah, you probably already knew about that…

Wait, there’s more! In addition to working at any of the above spaces, you also get access to events at all network locations and a discount on conference room bookings. And as a Groundwork! member, you can join the Workbar google group for discount offers, job opportunities, networking, and lots of other cool stuff. Pretty neat, eh?
