Meet EforAll’s Newest Additions: Krysten and Roshalene

Krysten and Roshalene, the newest additions to the EforAll Southcoast team, have quickly become familiar faces within our community at Groundwork. Their seamless integration into their roles reflects their dedication and passion for supporting entrepreneurs. Read on to discover more about their roles, routines, and the sources of inspiration that drive their work.

What’s your profession?

Roshalene: I am the Program Manager at EforAll South Coast.

Krysten: Program Coordinator for EforAll SoCo and entrepreneur. My personal businesses are Mastermind Adventures (Events and Educational Training) and City on a Hill Property Management.

Describe a typical work day for you.

Roshalene: I work with our entrepreneurs as they go through the accelerator program, but my work days are never “typical”. We are out in the community, visiting sites, promoting the program, attending events…there’s always something different going on!

Krysten: There is no typical work day – with EforAll, each day is different. But my main focus is to take care of the graduates from EforAll, and take care of the social media for our site.

What’s the biggest challenge you face at your job?

Roshalene: Remembering everyone’s names! We meet so many different people everyday!

Krysten: Time management. There are a lot of different stakeholders and coordinating the priorities can be challenging.

Do you have a morning routine?

Roshalene: After I drop all my kids off to school, the best mornings are the ones I have a chance to stop at Besteas!

Krysten: Sort of. Aside from normal “getting ready” tasks, I always play Wordle, Connections and finish the Mini Crossword on the NYT app while drinking my morning coffee.

What are your favorite productivity tips or hacks?

Roshalene: I have to have a list! Even if things are in my calendar, writing things out help me organize the chaos and keep me mindful of what I have to do!

Krysten: I timeblock my calendar to allow me a ‘deep-dive’ kind of focus. This is essential for my brain type. And I set a lot of timers and reminders.

What do you listen to during the day?

Roshalene: 90s R&B!

Krysten: My inner dialogue (it’s quite loud). And sometimes 80s or Retro Synthwave.

What do you hope to benefit from using a coworking space?

Roshalene: I am looking forward to getting to know new people and appreciate the attention to detail of the Groundwork staff.

Krysten: I love the energy of the coworking space. There’s passionate people working on their own businesses and projects, and in between we get to connect with each other.

What’s in your digital toolbox?

Roshalene: Canva! I love it. I’m always planning an event or social gathering, and I love using Canva to create invites!

Krysten: For organizing and project management, I like Airtable and Notion. I spend a lot of time in Canva, and it’s a great product. And the Adobe suite of products are fantastic.

What inspires you?

Roshalene: My kids. Everything I do is to make them proud and lead them by example.

Krysten: People who persevere, especially women. I especially love stories of growth and transformation.

What are some of your goals for the future?

Roshalene: Right now I am really focused on learning my position and connecting with the community and entrepreneurs.

Krysten: Find more time to relax and spend time with my family. Have more fun. Travel whenever possible.
