End of Summer Bucket List
As the weather begins warming up each spring, we all begin anticipating all the things we want to do during the summer. Now, as we’re entering mid-August, our summer days are unfortunately winding down. So think back to what you said you were going to do this summer. How much of it did you actually get around to doing? I know work and other obligations can get in the way, but its good to try to take advantage of the last few weeks of summer we have left. Here are some things that you’ll be able to do on fairly short notice on your days off.
Plan a Day Trip
whether it be Martha’s Vineyard, Block Island, Newport, or elsewhere, go out and explore a new area
Have a Beach Day
dedicate an entire day to relaxing on the beach and working on that tan
Go to a Farmers Market
take advantage of the season and get the best produce while you still can
Have a Cookout
invite your friends and family over and grill up some burgers and dogs
Have a Fire
chill by the fire and maybe even roast some marshmallows
Go Kayaking or Paddle Boarding
learn a new outdoor water activity
Go to an Outdoor Concert
whether it be a big country concert or a low-key concert in New Bedford
Go on a Hike
choose one of the cooler days to get outside and enjoy some scenery, all while getting that exercise in
Go to a Brewery
relax and enjoy some beer and some sunshine
