Groundwork! Members Give Thanks
It’s that time of year where we surround ourselves around friends and family to reflect on what we are thankful for, along with stuffing ourselves with turkey! A lot can happen in just a year and it is important to sit down and reflect on what you are thankful for. Below are what some of our Groundwork! members are thankful for. Keep calm and gobble on. Happy Thanksgiving from everyone at Groundwork!
Sarah Athanas:
I’m thankful for all of the intelligent, inspiring, and warm people I
have met since we started Groundwork! It already feels like family here.

I am thankful for the openness, support and compassion of others.

I am thankful to have found my place to call home on the days when I am working in New Bedford. I am very thankful that this special place includes a ping pong table.

I’m thankful for a year of new beginnings. I purchased a home in the city I love and made a career change that connects me more to the community and allows me to work around awesome people at Groundwork!
Sarah Riley:
I’m thankful for the continuous support from my family/friends and the opportunities I’ve received this year that have helped me to grow.
Steve Markowski:
I’m thankful every day to wake up to a new day in paradise on the SouthCoast.

This year I am particularly grateful for new and old friends, laughter, health, good food, lots of love, family, and the abundance of Benjamin Moore paint colors.
