Groundwork! Gets TDI Grant from MassDevelopment
We are thrilled to announce that our space on the first floor of the Quest Center will be remodeled with the help of a $150K grant from MassDevelopment. Groundwork! partnered with the New Bedford Economic Development Council (NBEDC) and the City of New Bedford to apply for a grant from the Transformative Development Fund, which was created to support entrepreneurs starting collaborative workspaces in gateway cities in the state of Massachusetts. The grant amount will be used to cover the interior fit-out costs, accessibility, and compliance for our 4000 square foot space on the first floor of the Quest Center. Although the project will be managed by the City of New Bedford and the NBEDC, Groundwork! will participate by providing feedback on the layout and amenities needed to create a functional and productive workspace.

In the meantime, if you just can’t wait to start coworking, you can apply to join us in the Groundwork! BETA space on the second floor of the Quest Center. The BETA space is our smaller coworking space that is currently open for your coworking, meeting, and conference needs.
