Meet Dr. Amity Bubbins of Embody Living

This month, we’re shining our spotlight on Dr. Amity Bubbins of Embody Living, a new Groundwork member whose work bridges health, movement, and transformation. From chiropractic care to human design, Amity helps others reconnect with their bodies and live more fully in alignment with their truest selves. Let’s get to know her.
What’s your profession?
Transformation.
Broad brush: Health, Wellness, Life-Style Medicine, Movement & Human Design Alignment – Chiropractor, Primal Health Coach, Certified Functional Medicine Practitioner, Quantum Human Design Facilitator, and Pilates Instructor.
Describe a typical work day for you.
I don’t really have a “typical” day. I’m always observing — aware of bodies, energies, and movements — especially the aberrant ones. The places where the rhythm and resonance stick or stop, where something shifts abruptly or doesn’t match the surface tone.
What’s the biggest challenge you face at your job?
Education and narrative change. Conditioning is a real thing — recognizing it and then actively participating in shifting it can be scary. It requires work and accountability that most people aren’t familiar or comfortable with.
Do you have a morning routine?
I love my mornings! I open the curtains, say good morning to the day and my plants, set up my Bialetti, and slowly ease my way in.
What are your favorite productivity tips or hacks?
Wait for the “right” time and “feel.” Resistance (in ANY form) is a big clue that “right now” isn’t it! I promise, it all won’t fall apart unless it’s supposed to — LOL.
What do you listen to during the day?
Whatever can be heard outside — birds, cars, horns, people walking by.

How do you benefit (or as a new member, what do you hope to benefit) from using a coworking space?
The autonomously collaborative-ness that a coworking space offers — community, creativity, new and differing conversations, perspective shifts, and ideas. Alive-ness.
What’s in your digital toolbox? (Favorite apps, hardware, software, etc.)
Digital and I are on limited terms! It overwhelms me — and honestly, it scares me — so I use as little as I possibly can to be productive and do what I need.
What inspires you?
Oh my gosh, so many things! The beautiful mess that is life and living, really. There’s so much beauty all around us, and when we can shift our perspective — even just a smidge — it opens a whole new space of possibility and light-ness.
What are some of your goals for the future?
- Supporting more people in living fully and in alignment with their truest expression of self.
- Meeting new people. Living more fully for me.
- Owning that “just right” property that will be Home & Sanctuary for life, living, work, and play — for me and for you.
