Personal Space: Paintings by Daniel Kornrumph
September 22, 2017 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Join us in the Groundwork! Gallery to celebrate a new show of paintings by local artist Daniel Kornrumph.
Artist Statement
Documenting a time where paths cross, Daniel Kornrumpf’s paintings are biased, imperfect, visual transmissions painted from observation of the people that make up his personal story. Learning through the process of discovery that occurs in painting, Daniels’ work focuses on elements that emotionally sharpen the idea of solitude, need, and desire. The individuals in Daniel’s paintings act as vehicles for connection; a connection to shared values, to the spaces we inhabit, and as a way to understand his own sense of existence.
