Member Event: Morning Pages
April 8 @ 9:30 am - 10:00 am
FreeJoin us for Morning Pages every Monday at 9:30am in Fall River.
Morning Pages are three pages of longhand, stream of consciousness writing, done first thing in the morning. From the book The Artist’s Way by Julia Cameron, this practice is designed to clear mental clutter, stimulate creativity, and cultivate mindfulness.
As the name suggestions, morning pages is best done first thing in the morning, soon after waking. But don’t let your busy Monday schedule prevent you from cultivating this valuable practice. Relinquish your mental clutter by joining us in the Fall River flex space to complete your morning pages before tackling the day ahead.
There is no wrong way to do Morning Pages*– they are not high art. They are not even “writing.” They are about anything and everything that crosses your mind– and they are for your eyes only. Morning Pages provoke, clarify, comfort, cajole, prioritize and synchronize the day at hand. Do not over-think Morning Pages: just put three pages of anything on the page…and then do three more pages tomorrow – Julia Cameron
