Gallery Opening: The Annual Anchor Academy Student Art Show

Anchor Academy is a private, therapeutic day school located in Middleboro, MA. Each year we are happy to exhibit the art of our talented student artists. With support from Art Classroom Counselor, Mark Gleicher, Anchor Academy students worked hard all year learning to create art that reflects their self-expression without being encumbered by any preconceived notions or external pressures to do anything more than to feel and create. Anchor Academy’s art program is grounded in a therapeutic philosophy that champions relationships, emotional intelligence, and skill development, and those ideas are put into action using paint, pencil, markers, etc. We are so proud of our young makers and believe that the diversity of styles and mix of voices create a cohesive exhibition that represents the very best of who we are today.
