Fall Film Series: The Stranger

Join us for a screening of Orson Welle’s 1946 Noir thriller “The Stranger.” The Stranger follows a War Crime Commisssioner’s search for a missing Nazi, who happens to be posing as a professor in a small Connecticut town. Although today it is one of Welle’s lesser-known films, The Stranger was a box-office smash hit as well as the only film by Welles to gross a profit.
