Clothing Swap: A Thread That Unites Us

Join us for a unique clothing swap experience during the October-November art installation! Bring your gently used clothing, shoes, and accessories to swap and refresh your wardrobe while helping reduce textile waste.
Date: Sunday, October 19th
Time: 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Location: Groundwork Gallery
1213 Purchase Street (Entrance @ 1 Maxfield Street)
Swap Guidelines:
- Accepting: Clothing, shoes, and accessories
- Drop Offs: Minimum of 10 items / Maximum of 20 items
- Condition: All items must be properly laundered, with no major signs of wear (stains/holes).
- In-Season Items Only
- Token Trade: Each item donated earns you a swap token. Drop-ins can purchase tokens on the day of the swap.
- Fill a Bag: $15 per tote bag
- Tote Bag Size Rule: All participants must use a standard-sized tote bag, measuring approx. 18” x 15” x 6” (or similar dimensions). This size is easily manageable, providing enough space to carry swapped items while ensuring fairness for all participants.
Proceeds will be donated to support the International Rescue Committee’s mission in fighting famine in Gaza.
