Spring Fever On The SouthCoast
After an extended winter and deciding whether to pull a t-shirt out one day or a winter jacket the next, we feel it’s safe to say that spring fever has begun! With the Daffodil Field in South Dartmouth in bloom and the Red Sox season in full swing, outdoor activities are on the top of the mind. SouthCoast has a wide variety of events and festivals on the way that will be hard to pass up.
Evenings of Music and Wine
Looking for a relaxing weekend night during the summer, where the only concern you have is where to place your lawn chairs and which wine to indulge in? Westport Rivers Winery has their Sunset Music Festivals all summer long. With an array of different artists and 80+ acres of vineyard as a backdrop it is a perfect event to unwind with.
Fun Runs With Friends
If you’re looking for a little more adventure on your Spring weekend, Seekonk is hosting their Color Me Rad 5k May 21st. It’s a fun and colorful way to get in some weekend exercising.
Satisfy Your Cravings
Prefer to spend your weekends enjoying new and exciting foods? April 29th East Drink RI is hosting Truck Stop: A Festival of Street Eats. A variety of different food trucks will park themselves at the The Alex and Ani Center in Providence along with artists providing live music ranging in R&B to swing tunes.
