DESCRIPTION:Join us at the Groundwork! to celebrate entrepreneurship on the South Coast! This event will feature an inspiring program of speakers as well as plenty of time to network informally and learn about different entrepreneur programs in the area. \nSecretary of Housing and Economic Development Jay Ash will keynote this celebration of SoCoLaunch\, an informal consortium of organizations committed to helping South Coast entrepreneurs. Secretary Ash will highlight the State funding for Entrepreneurship for All (EforAll)\, an accelerator program for aspiring entrepreneurs\, and Groundwork!\, a shared space for entrepreneurs to build their businesses. Noted serial entrepreneur Desh Deshpande\, the co-founder of Cascade Communications and Sycamore Networks\, will also speak. \nThe event will celebrate SoCo Launch and the organizations pledging to work together to help entrepreneurs in the South Coast region\, including: \n\nEforAll\nGroundwork!\nWorkforce Investment Board\nAdvanced Technology and Manufacturing Center\nLittoral Power Systems\nNew Bedford Economic Development Council\nSoCo Coding Foundry\nCharlton College of Business at UMass Dartmouth\nCape Cod Chamber of Commerce\nMass Small Business Development Center\nUMass Dartmouth Student-Run Business Association\nSouth Coast Innovator Lab\nFirst Citizens’ Federal Credit Union\nBusiness Innovation Center\nNew Bedford Area Chamber of Commerce\nSNEEF (Southern New England Entrepreneurs Forum)\nINEX IoT IMPACT LABS\nAHA!
