That’s why every third Tuesday of the month\, we transform the Eaton into a soft self-guided meditation space for members to pop in and realign. No sign up required. The space is available 11am-1:30pm for members to come as they are and as they need. \nWhy meditate at work?\nThe positive impacts of a regular meditation are numerous. Meditation can: \n\nHelp reduce stress and anxiety\nReduce loneliness\nHelp you make fewer errors\nHelp you prioritize your tasks to work faster and more effectively\n\nHow to start a self-guided meditation practice at work:\n\nGet comfy: Sit or lie down on the floor or stay in a chair if it’s supportive.\nClose your eyes.\nBreathe deeply in a rhythmic pattern.\nWhile you’re breathing deeply\, turn your focus on each breath.\nIf you get distracted\, that’s ok\, simply acknowledge the distraction and return to noticing your breath\nAs you become more experienced\, you’ll find that your mind will be less distracted and able to focus on each breath.\nStart with five minutes of meditation at first and try to build up to 20 minutes daily\, increasing by time increments that are workable for you. Through thread\, memory\, and personal transformation\, Paulina examines the delicate balance between mental health\, identity\, and belonging in an increasingly unstable world. \nThere is no formal opening for this art exhibit. Self-guided viewing is encouraged during our business hours. M-F 9am-2pm. No appointment required. \nIn this body of work\, textiles become their own emotional language — stitching together experiences of rupture and renewal. The exhibition includes pieces created across different chapters of the artist’s life: reflections on collective trauma and human rights struggles in Chile\, intimate explorations of loss and maternal connection\, and new works that consider how we preserve sanity amid uncertainty. (celebrated on Aug 9) \nHow it works: \nEmail team@groundwork.space to let us know you’re coming (be sure to specify the location you will visit) or drop by either GW location between 9am-1pm to get set up with a free day pass! \n\nWhen you arrive\, sign in at the front desk.\nStaff will show you around and get you settled\, from there you’ll enjoy a day of focused work!\nAccess is limited to flex seating 9am-5pm (does not include meeting rooms)\nEnjoy the coffee\, tea\, and Coworking Day perks!\nPhone booths available at both locations\n\nGW Fall River is located at 2 Bank Street. Off-street parking is available until 5pm. This space is dog friendly\, so feel free to bring the pup! \nGW New Bedford is located at 1213 Purchase Street. Our entrance is on Maxfield Street. There is unmetered off-street parking available. Enjoy the art exhibit “All Growed Up” by Jim Charette on display in our gallery this summer! \nWe hope to see you there!
