DESCRIPTION:Acknowledge? Yes. Apologize? No. In this session\, you will learn to cultivate awareness of your intention and avoid common language traps. \nHave you ever started an email with “sorry for the delay”? Whether you’re catching up from a well-deserved vacation or just plain busy\, what is that voice that urges you to apologize? Or\, consider this – what is your first thought when you are on the receiving end of an apology? \nIn this interactive workshop\, you will learn to cultivate awareness of auto-apologies and other common language traps. We will also practice how to determine your true intention and use language accordingly. By giving yourself space in the moment between thinking it and writing or speaking it\, you will reclaim the opportunity to speak deliberately and honor yourself\, too. \nPresenter: Lauren Leduc Lemieux \nAs a Whole Life Coach\, Lauren Leduc Lemieux works with people who feel stuck\, fed up and frustrated with where they are in life\, either professionally\, personally\, or both. Lauren’s calm and empathetic nature provides clients with the space to acknowledge their discontent and embrace new opportunities. At her core\, she uses her insightful questioning\, intuitive listening\, unwavering support\, and deep curiosity to enlighten\, engage\, and empower her clients. \nBefore becoming a certified coach\, Lauren worked in a family business for nearly 20 years. When she left\, many described her departure as a midlife crisis\, while Lauren calls it harnessing her midlife confidence.
