DESCRIPTION:Please join us for a special member lunch\, in celebration of National Hispanic Heritage month through food\, community\, and conversation. Lunch will be provided by local\, hispanic owned restaurants who showcase their devotion\, hard work\, and culture through their timeless and authentic recipes. \nNational Hispanic Heritage Month is celebrated from September 15-October 15 each year to recognize the contributions and influence of Hispanic Americans to the United States’ history\, culture\, and achievements. September 15 marks the independence declarations of five Hispanic countries in 1821: Costa Rica\, El Salvador\, Guatemala\, Honduras\, and Nicaragua. The theme for 2024 is “Pioneers of Change: Shaping the Future Together”. This theme celebrates Hispanic trailblazers who have driven positive change for a more inclusive future. \nStop by Groundwork on the first Tuesday of every month for a free lunch from a local spot at both our locations. Lunch is served in kitchen at noon and is opened to all members. Not a member but would like to come to our social\, networking\, and art event? Consider joining our social club!
