SUMMARY:Lunch & Learn: Tax Strategies and Tips when starting a small business
DESCRIPTION:This workshop will provide entrepreneurs and new business owners with the tools needed when starting their business.  The workshop will review business plans\, structuring your business and the different entity types\, federal and MA filing requirements\, as well as how to organize your business finances and bookkeeping. \nThis workshop will be led by Chantel A Souza\, CPA MBA. \nChantel is a Certified Public Accountant and Partner at RichardsTimko\, PC.  She consults with business and individual clients in the areas of tax and accounting.  She has spent the last 22 years in public accounting assisting her clients with their tax\, accounting and business needs. Chantel has her Bachelor of Accounting from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth and a Master’s Degree in business from Webster University. \nShe is currently an ambassador of the One Southcoast Chamber of Commerce and the Treasurer of South Coast Business Alliance (SCBA).  SCBA is a nonprofit that supports local youth by providing impactful donations to various Organizations.
