Arts, Culture, & Creativity: Community Discussion

Join a community discussion with the Community Foundation on how to bring art, culture, and creativity to a new level in our city. Pizza will be served!

1. This public forum is for gathering visions, inspiration, information, desires and insights for where we could go next with projects that can enrich the cultural landscape of our city.
2. This call is about gathering information on projects that, for example, have been successful other places, and it is a gathering of information… on projects that might be partially formed and in need of funding, and it is about the gathering of visions for how we could in general move forward as a City.
3. The outcome of this research – initial funding for the public information gathering is sponsored by the Barr Foundation – will be a set of recommendation to that Foundation for what we see as possible grant application topics.
   
4. If the Foundation sees these topics as doable and worthy, they will fund the initial round of projects, and a call will go out for applicants. The granting process will be administered by the Community Foundation.

If you can’t make it on June 6th, there will be a second session at the UMass Dartmouth CVPA on June 21st from 5-7pm.
